Candidate should be technically hands on, have good project management skills and be experienced in running large QA engineering team. Candidate should have working knowledge on how to direct functional, system, Performance and scalability testing.
At least 20 – 25 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
At least 7 years of experience as an individual contributor
Candidate should have experience working in US, or working with US clients or have an MS degree from USVery well versed in testing tools from companies such as Mercury Winrunner & Loadrunner, Segue Silktest, and IBM Rational tool set, or open source tools such as Grinder and Selenium.
Previous experience building organizations and process with major contributions made towards process improvement ISO 9000 or CMM
The candidate must have a solid understanding of technology. Specifically, they must understand the Java/J2EE development stack, be familiar with messaging webservcies, and have a very good understanding of how to test multi-tiered Jave/J2EE applications.
The candidate must have designed, implemented, and executed tests for complex applications such as CRM, Supply Chain Management and Logistics
The candidate must be able to function as a QA Architect. He/she must be able to step in and provide leadership in test design and implementation.
Assumes overall responsibility for the efficiency and integrity of testing & QA through collaboration with internal and external business units, clients, and vendors. Develops policies and procedures, in accordance with long-range strategic goals, and provides effective and inspirational leadership to entire Testing team.
