A fresher or with less than 6 months of Minimum experience in testing any applications. developed using ASP.NET/C#, ASP, HTML, VB Script, JavaScript and MS SQL ServerEssential – Basic SQL knowledge, Understanding of relational databases
Desirable – Awareness of one or more tools of testing – LoadRunner, Perfmon, QTP, VB Script, MS Visual Studio Team System – Test Edition, C#

To assure a high quality product the Junior Quality Analyst will be able to support Quality Analyst in performing functional, performance and regression testing. Under Test Lead or Quality Analyst supervision, this position is responsible for all functions related to the testing and verification of web based applications and systems. This individual must learn both the technical side of the system as well as understand what the business user expects the system to do. He would become Quality Analyst after enough experience.

Top Activities and Responsibilities:
Support Quality Analyst in
Analyze functional requirements and/or design specifications, translate them into test cases, and develop a detailed test plan utilizing knowledge of the functional application
Develop, Maintain, and execute test cases for functional, performance and regression tests
Identify defects and work with the development team to manage defects until resolved
Report progress of software testing in accordance with schedules to QA Manager and QA Lead
Develop and implement software QA metrics and reports, as needed
Work closely with developers, analysts, users, and managers

Provides quality assurance expertise in all development projects from initiation through implementation0 to 1 year experience.
