Srum  /Agile Senior QA Engineer

Experience of Use Case-Driven Testing in Agile Development is a plus.
Understanding and concepts of Databases MySQL, Oracle etc is desirable.
Experience working with Continuous Integration practices is a plus.
Working knowledge of Linux and Unix Operating systems is a plus.
Experience with performance and load testing tools Borland SilkTest, Mercury
Interactive LoadRunner etc is a plus.
Experience with Test Driven Development and Acceptance testing frameworks
like FIT, FitNesse is a plus.
Desired Profile Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have strong software quality assurance and testing
experience, a proven track record of having performed testing activities successfully
for Web applications, and demostrated knowledge of Agile development best
practices.
BTech or MTech in Computer Science or Engineering.
Minimum 4-6 years of QA experience, meeting aggressive deadlines, and
performing software QA duties.

Technical Skills:
Possess âtest to breakâ attitude.
Must have ability to develop high quality test case suites for feature,
regression, performance and scalability testing scenarios.
Superior with test case execution and result communication.
Understanding of Scrum methodology and Agile testing methods is required.
Experience with automated software testing tools Selenium, HP, IBM,
Rational etc is a plus.

Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication. Is a clear and effective
communicator.
Ability to work in close proximity to and in collaboration with developers.
Develop good working relations with all CFT members.
Ability to excel in dynamic software QA environment.
Ability to take the users/customers point of view.
Deals with concepts and complexity comfortably.
Team Player – Work effectively as part of the team with minimal supervision.
Prior experience working intimately with virtual development teams is
strongly preferred.
Experience working in a very fast-paced development team under pressure is
a plus.
