Highly efficient in creating & modifying test scripts using Automated Test Tools.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Test Scripting.
1-2 years experience in development is desirable.
Strong in programming fundamentals in any OOL and scripting required. (VBScript, Shell, Ruby, Javascript)
Experienced Agile Tester with hands-on experience in tools like Selenium, Sahi, TestComplete, JMeter & Bugzilla
Experience in development on open-source technologies [PHP/ MySQL / Linux] will be an added advantage
Well-aware of Web-Technologies concept
Self motivated, self starter, require minimal guidance.
Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills
Strong logical/analytical skills.
Person should be competent & experienced to bring in best practices including high focus on automation to create more impact and efficiency.
Person should be able to come up with improvements in the existing process or create new ones if required.

Job Description
Required Skill Set – Selenium / SAHI / JMeter / TestComplete / OpenSTA
Analyzing test requirements and automating the test cases in product-development environment
Identify areas of testing for each product that can be automated, whether from an available tool, or via developing code
Develop and maintain Automated Testing Framework for the testing team that is highly scripted and can be executed largely unattended
Help define and maintain common automation libraries, conventions, best practices, etc
Evaluate/procure automated tools for testing
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving
Participate in design reviews to help guide and implement best automation approaches Forecast / Estimate the Project future requirements
Test full & final release of the Product & do security & performance testing
Independently design, code and validate the test case automation without compromise on quality and schedule
Arrange the Hardware and Software requirement for the Test Set-up
Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hard ware, Resources) to next level
Update and send the bug / test status report of project(s).
Act as a point of contact between Development and Testers for iterations, Testing and deployment processes and activities.
Track and report upon testing activities, including testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines, etc.
Ensures adherence to process, tools and metrics standards within the project team
Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems.
