Testing Jobs in India

1. Developing a strong knowledge of the products and related technology to manage the test infrastructure and environment.
2. Executing automated tests, analyzing and accurately reporting the results, and providing sign off on daily content releases that meet the highest quality expectations.3. Promptly identifying and escalating defects; working with cross site and cross functional teams to isolate problem; and tracking the issues to complete resolution.
4. Performing duties associated with the role of a QA Engineer within McAfee such as create test documentation, participate in document and process reviews, configure the testing environment, liaise with other functional groups, verify defect fixes etc.

Experience
2-4 years of minimum experience in a software testing environment. This includes demonstrated ability in the following areas:
1. Ability to quickly learn and deploy software applications in the testing environment from the home consumer, small business, and enterprise business segments

2. Proven track record in QA testing to deliver high quality software releases

3. Expertise on all Windows OS and VMWare (ESX, vSphere, vCenter, LabManager etc.), with good troubleshooting and debugging skills.

4. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Programming (C#, VisualBasic, Python, Perl), QTP, Quality Center, Bugzilla

5. Schedule estimation of tasks, and on-time delivery against those schedules

6. Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, testing methodologies.

7. Strong written and verbal communications skills in English. Candidate must be self-motivated with a strong desire to continually grow technical expertise.

8. Able to work flexible hours including being on call 24/7
Qualifications/Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience     2 – 4 Years
