BSCS or equivalent with 3-10 years of software development experience including analysis, design, development and testing

Strong development experience in Manageability in Storage/networking domain. Experience in developing SNMP MIB support for any switching platform/device

Experience building CLIs at Embedded Manageability platforms

Very good knowledge on C, Linux, Data Structures, System calls, IPC & TCP/IP Socket programming, SQL Stored procedure.etc

Experience with source code generator tools, scripting , debuggers

Knowledge and development experience in the areas of XML, SNMP, HTTP, RPC, CIM modeling

Management Integration experience with Systems or Storage applications

Exposure to Java technologies

Should have very good grip on non-functional areas like performance, scalability, usability etc

Self directed and self motivated.

Highly effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable to rapid change. A team player; Self starter; who is able to analyze complex problems independently.

Working knowledge of SAN and FC is a plus

Job Description
Embedded manageability expert who is responsible to design and develop management solutions for brocades next generation storage platforms, brocade storage applications and other third party storage applications. The candidate should have hands on manageability development experience in C, Linux in storage/Networking embedded manageability domain. Candidate should have delivered management application from concept to end of life. Desired candidate should be a very good team player who should have highest level of commitment to quality.

Responsibility

Design Brocade compliant management solutions for Brocades next generation products and storage applications.

Work closely with several cross-functional groups in Brocade.

Contribute to the development of manageability of storage applications.
