Experience in LoadRunner (Scripting, execution, analysis, reporting)

Exposure to platform preparation and maintenance (Web Logic)

The Test Engineer will work with a team of software engineers and will be responsible for executing performance testing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in performance testing using LoadRunner and have the ability to identify application performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and develop an approach to performance testing

Coordinating with the Development and other support teams to gather requirements, architecture, platform details, etc

Creating and maintaining Stress testing platforms (Web logic, SQL server)

Developing the LoadRunner scripts, creating scenarios, adding monitoring counters, execution of different kinds of tests

Analyzing the test reports to look for system bottlenecks and opening and following up on incidents to their closure

Suggesting system performance improvement ideas

Test Planning and Reporting

Gather performance requirements, study system architecture

Plan the activities for performance testing projects

Perform the testing activities according to the plan and report to all the stakeholders on the progress / any blocking issues in an effective manner

Follow up with the concerned teams for any issues and bring them to closure

4 to 6 years
