Testing Jobs in India

Working knowledge of Internet and web based Internet technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, TCP/IP networking , etc strongly desired.

Working knowledge of various databases, including MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle.

Experience with a scripting language such as Perl or Ruby a plus.

Experience with performance testing a plus.

Responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of both manual and automated test procedures in accordance to test plan specifications.

Ensure that work meets or exceeds project performance, reliability, and quality goals.

Responsible for functional and performance testing as well as reporting test results.

Required Skills and Experience:

• BS in Computer Science or related degree with experience of 3 to 5 years of work experience.

• A minimum of 2 years experience in the area of Quality Assurance / software testing.

• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Knowledge of automated testing (planning, implementation, and use), TCP/IP networking internet protocols strongly desired.

• Software development experience using Java and Eclipse.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Familiarity with software development life cycle process and basics of software version control.
