Testing Jobs in India

Senior QA engineer mainly owning test automation of all the supportability products along with product testing responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Client-Server application, web application and console based application Test Automation & Product Testing (Mainly windows based).

2. Create QA strategy document on product blackbox testing, product test automation.

3. Use test coverage tool and analyze the coverage report.

4. Provide QA progress reports

5. XML file creation and VB scripting

6. Interface within the team and management.

7. Address customer (McAfee Product teams, TechSupport, External customers) issues and questions, as needed.

At least 5 to 8 years of experience in QA testing including at least 3 years of solid experience in test automation/framework development mainly on windows platform.B.E./BTech/MCA and above from a reputed engineering institute equivalent to NITs and above.

Should have worked with reputed MNC’s (desirably Cisco, Microsoft, VMware,

Competencies / Skill sets required for the role:

Must Have:

1. At least 5 years expertise on Client-Server application, web application and console based application testing.

2. At least 3 years solid experience in Client-Server application, web application and console

3. based application test automation, automation tools & automation framework development.

4. Expertise in writing/understanding VB scipt, XML, Python/Perl.

5. Should be able to understand C programs & write atleast small programs/stubs.

6. Work experience in SDLC and good knowledge of QA testing process

7. Ability to design and implement QA test plans and test cases

8. Ability to setup test lab or test environment

9. Experience in SQL database, network configuration, imaging software, VPC/VMware.

10. Excellent written & communication skills.

11. Good attitude and a team player.

Nice to have skills:

1. Good Negotiation skills.

2. Experience in Performance testing / Security testing.

3. Should be able to handle project independently.

4. Should have used VC supported Test coverage tools.

5. C based product White box Testing & automation.
