Sajan, a technology leader and language services provider in the translation industry is seeking highly motivated senior software testing and QA engineers for its India software development center, up to the challenge of building the next generation of its translation management technology. The Senior Testing Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining manual and automated quality assurance testing methodologies and systems to ensure the accuracy and stability of software applications. The responsibilities include:
Develop test plans/procedures and subsequent test case/script code for manual/automated functional, stress, acceptance, and regression testing.
Develop focused test plans for Sajan applications.
Set-up and maintain testing environments.
Perform test cases and maintain associated test records.
Analyze results, draws conclusions from test results, and make recommendations in a clear and concise manner. Push back on the Software Engineer when necessary.
Ensure that no defective products are moved to production.
Follow-up and close issues entered into the defect-tracking system.
Resolve complex issues that may require design trade-offs.
Recommend methodologies and software for automated testing and defect tracking beyond what is currently being utilized.
Act as a mentor to his peers and juniors.
Meet goals and deadlines.
