Manual Testing with sound Test Design and Test Execution skills. Should be able to understand business requirements and develop relevant scenarios and test cases
Good knowledge on the SDLC / STLC
Should have exposure to the entire Testing life cycle and different testing methodologies
Writes Test Plans/ Test Scenarios and Test Cases after clearly understanding the requirements
Participate in walkthroughs with the Business (BA’s)
Familiar with testing the applications under the changing environment.
Thorough knowledge on the Defect life cycle. Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in the bug database
Timely escalation / Follow ups of the critical defects, Timely retesting of the defects
Contributing to overall Test Strategy
Plan, schedule and execute moderate to complex quality testing projects.
Work closely with developers and project team during design, requirements, and development phase
Interface with clients and conduct presentations.
Experience with defect tracking and Test management tools like Quality Center etc
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independent with customer
