QA Verification Engineer:

Experience in design, static and dynamic verification of applications, systems and communication protocols for use in embedded or high integrity systems.
Experience of slice analysis, coverage analysis, coding standards conformance, boundary value and information flow analysis, and software unit/module testing.
Experience or exposure to formal development methodologies in configuration management, requirements traceability, formal or semi formal methods; unit, functional and system testing.
Experience or exposure to safety systems and standards such as CENELEC, IEC, ISO, IEEE or CMM standards.
CSTE / CSTM / CSQE certification is a plus.
Experience using requirements engineering, configuration management, UML Modelling, unit / automated testing and coding enforcement tools is a plus.

Education: B.E. (Electronics / Electrical / Communication / Instrumentation)
Experience Required: Typically requires 3-9 years of related experience.

Description of Position Responsibilities:
Networks with key contacts in own area of expertise.
A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Establishes the testing strategy and methodology; writes Test Specifications; reviews high level functional and/or design specifications, help text, offline documentation like user guides.
Understands integration issues and heterogeneity of products. Writes and reviews integration test scripts.
Analyzes the test results and prepares test reports summarizing the activities performed.
Involves in resolving confusion, may be through resolving technical and/or functional issues. Handles the role of Group Lead, if assigned.
Actively participates in configuration management, packaging and delivery of product. Handles the role of Configuration Manager, if assigned.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
