1. Acting as the QA Team Lead and be responsible for managing the infrastructure, test planning, and execution of automated testing to deliver the highest quality Content releases to our customers on a daily basis.2. Developing a strong knowledge of the products, process and related technology to create and maintain operational plans that provide comprehensive test coverage.
3. Managing, Monitoring, and Maintaining the testing environment, daily automated testing, results analysis, and providing approval to release the content that meets the highest quality expectations.
4. Promptly identifying and escalating defects; working with cross site and cross functional teams to isolate problem; and tracking the issues to complete resolution.
5. Performing duties associated with the role of a QA team lead within McAfee such as participating in planning the testing strategy and effective implementation of the strategy, organize and facilitate reviews, inspections and walkthrough of test plans and processes, liaise with other functional groups etc.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
6-9 years of minimum experience in a software development or testing environment.
This includes demonstrated ability in the following areas:
1. Proven track record on consistently delivering high quality software releases and strong experience on managing, maintaining and adherence to stringent processes.
2. Expertise on all Windows operating systems, VMware (ESX, vSphere, vCenter, LabManager etc.), networking concepts and configuration, with good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
3. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Programming (C#, VisualBasic, Python, Perl), QTP, Quality Center, Bugzilla
4. Ability to quickly learn, and become proficient with complex applications, understanding their interactions with other installed products, and how they operate within an overall system
5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English. Candidate must be self-motivated with a strong desire to continually grow technical expertise.
6. Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Test Automation, Software testing tools, Performance Testing, Exposure to the software security domain
7. Able to work flexible hours including being on call 24/7
