POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is for a Team Lead quality assurance, testing a Java based web application.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include working as a Quality assurance Team lead on assigned projects. Interaction with developers is required.
Desired Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, from a reputed university with an aggregate of at least 65%.
5-7 years of relevant experience.
Good Analytical skills to extrapolate information and troubleshoot problems.
Experience on creating project plans, creating test plans, test estimations, test scenarios and test cases from functional specifications.
applications/ASP testing), certifying and validating supported browsers, certifying and testing new browsers.
Experience testing Enterprise-level commercial applications.
Experience working with defect tracking and configuration tools.
Knowledge on SDLC, STLC, Defect lifecycle.
Back end data verification and validation (especially SQL).
Knowledge on performance, load, stress testing or functional test automation.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to lead teams of size up to 5 members and able to coordinate onsite and offshore teams.
