Knowledge on performance, load, stress testing or functional test automation.

Back end data verification and validation (especially SQL).

Certifying and validating supported browsers, certifying and testing new browsers.

Certified tester e.g. Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) Or ISTQB.

5. Exposure to Human Resources domain a plus.

6. Should be team oriented, able to work in a dynamic environment, proactive, and a quick learner.

B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, from a reputed university with an aggregate of at least 65%.

5-8 years relevant experience.

Good analytical skills to extrapolate information and troubleshoot problems.

Experience on creating test scenarios and test cases from functional specifications.

Hands on experience in different forms of testing (especially testing web-based applications / enterprise-level commercial applications).

Experience working with defect tracking and configuration tools.

Knowledge on SDLC, STLC, Defect Life Cycle.

8. Excellent English communication skills.

9. Able to work independently as well as coordinate between onsite and offshore teams.

10. Able to lead a group of QA Engineers, allocate the work, review the deliverables, monitor the project progress and provide technical guidances to the QA Engineers. Responsible for the QA deliverables of assigned project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Creation of Test scenarios and Test cases by analyzing the functional specifications.

2. Testing web based applications using available test cases and validating applications for the expected behavior.

3. Logging defects, verifying client reported issues, and working towards verification and closure of fixed defects.

4. Successfully works on multiple concurrent work requests.

5. Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment with a strong customer service orientation.

6. Provides clear, accurate and prompt communication to leadership and management teams.

7. Works as a team player in a global project team environment split between India and the U.S.

8. Works closely with various stake holders such as Development, Technical Writing, Product Management, and support teams to ensure quality deliverables.

9. Responsible for QA deliverables of the assigned project. Assign work to the team members, review completed work, and provide technical guidance. Monitor project progress and ensure quality deliverables.
