Back end data verification and validation (especially SQL).
Certified tester e.g. Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA).
Experience on performance, load, stress testing or functional test automation and automation frame work.
Exposure to HR Domain a plus.
Should be team oriented, able to work in a dynamic environment, proactive, and a quick learner.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is for a quality assurance Manager, testing Java/.Net based web applications and managing a team of 10-15 people.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include working as a quality assurance manager on assigned projects. Interaction with developers, product managers, onsite and offshore teams is required.
Desired Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, from a reputed university with an aggregate of at least 65%.
8-10 years relevant experience.
Good Analytical skills to extrapolate information and troubleshoot problems.
Experience on Creating Test Strategies, test plans, set up Test environments, creating test scenarios and test cases from functional specifications.
Hands on experience in different forms of testing (especially testing web based applications/ASP testing), certifying and validating supported browsers, certifying and testing new browsers.
Experience testing Enterprise-level commercial applications.
Managing defect review process & Understanding of defect tracking and configuration management tools.
Knowledge on SDLC, STLC, Defect lifecycle.
Experience in defining test metrics to measure the quality of the product.
Ability to work in a team with excellent team leading qualities and Manage test teams.
Coach resources on performance and career.
Excellent communication skills.
LOCATION:
New hires will initially work from our current Hyderabad offices, then move to our new Vizag office during the Second half of 2008
