Lead Engineer QA

Desired Profile
* First hand work experience in software testing (white box), support or performance benchmarking.
* Experience in Code Generation Tools, Language Parsers, IDE, Security and Language Runtimes.
* Exposure to testing methodologies, techniques and tools.
* Experience in C, Java, C , Perl, Python languages.
* Knowledge of RSS Feeds, XML RPCs, REST/SOAP interfaces and Semantic Web.

Qualifications & Experience

* Engineering in CS or any other discipline
* 8-12 years of work experience

Job Responsibilities

Be able to design, implement and deploy automation frameworks.

Translate MRDs and PRDs into design specs.

Create test plans.

Conduct design reviews, test plan and test case reviews.

Publish metrics around test coverage and other testing metrics

Compare, recommend automation methodologies, frameworks

Participate in enhancing testing tools (either hands-on scripting/coding, or design recommendations)

Hands-on automation using shell/perl/python scriptingDesirable

Process-oriented & Customer-focused
Pragmatic, analytical, and adept at prioritization and trade-off
Flexible, confident, and enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced environment and multiplexing amongst multiple tasks and wearing multiple hats
Prior startup experience desired
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
