BSc in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.4 to 5 years experience.Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior QA role with minimum 3 year playing the QA Lead role preferably testing web based multi-tiered clustered applications
Must have at least 2 years experience in test Automation using Junit / TestNG. TestNG experience is a strong plus.

Minimum of 3-4 years experience on Linux / UNIX environment with emphasis on test automation.

Experience in designing and writing test automation scripts including use of one or more tools; JUnit, TestNG , HttpUnit, , Grinder or any other open source tools.

• Experience in a programming language, especially Java, is required

• Application Server knowledge and/or experience with WebLogic any other application server

• Oracle DBA knowledge and/or experience with Java

Note: Overseas Assignment – Valid Passport – Ready to Join in 10 Days - Re-location – Contract for 06 Months.

Job Description:Main Areas of Responsibility

• Provide leadership to junior QA team members when called to do so

• Able and willing to work alone on customer projects in a self directed and mature manner.

• Maintain high quality bar in projects from the start and to champion quality improvements

• Multi task and to provide needed input efficiently on QA activities

• Review QA project artefacts including Test Plans, Test Scripts and project strategies

• Implement and maintain detailed concise test plans

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java/ JUnit /TestNG

• Document product defects

• Develop and execute performance and scalability tests using open source tools

• Assist in developing, organizing and maintaining QA methodologies along with QA manager and actively engage in rolling out QA organization improvements to own project

• Establish close working relationships with development teams

• Provide career guidance and mentoring for all QA Engineers/assist QA manager with reviews.

These are the main elements of the job. However you may be expected to undertake tasks outside of this job description and to use your own initiative to develop the role

Experience & Qualifications
