Computer science graduate/ post graduate or equivalent from a reputed college.
Any or all of the following – Performance scalability & reliability testing tools & methodologies, automation testing tools (any open source or commercial tools), database skills (SQL server preferred).
Jr.Tester / Tester for Manual testing.
Thorough grasp of QA methodologies and the QA lifecycle for whitebox, black box, functional, customer-oriented testing.
• Development of test cases, documentation to design the overall testing scenarios and describing the test data requirements to achieve the desired test coverage.

•Understanding of statistical process control/ six-sigma methodology is preferred.
•Ensuring process implementation in the BU through audits
•Ensuring process awareness within the BU by managing process trainings

* Ability to review Java code differences to identify additional test cases
A tester with 2-3 years experience in manual testing required for a project in the insurance domain. The candidate should have hand-on experience in software testing and should be able to use defect-tracking tools like Quality Center.
