-  Should have 2 to 4 yrs of experience in QA / Testing of Software Products / Applications preferably desktop applications

- Must have good Manual Testing skills

- Should have working exposure with database like SQL

- Would be preferred if the candidate has exposure in Automation and Scripting.

Technical competence, proficiency in Java, C#, and/or C++. Our development is predominately in Java
Technical proficiency in systems and platform level development (threads/pools, sockets and protocol, creating API’s, etc.)

Regression testing/scripts execution (QTP) of software (Apex) prior to release to clients.
Create, maintain and update regression scripts in QTP
Successfully execute the scripts before monthly releases

Strong Experience in Automation tools like QTP, QC, Load Runner, Rational tools, Selenium, Visual Studio etc
Strong knowledge on scripting languages VB script, Perl

Atleast 4 years of experience in Manual Testing.

Individual contributor, able to quickly grasp the complex test modules & execute with least assistance from the lead w.r.t technical queries.

Able to effectively review SOW, FDDs and other relevant testing related documents and provide value able feedback.

Knowledge of various testing techniques, approaches and best practices
Extensive experience on test plan and test case authoring
Experience designing and implementing automated system and unit level test scripts

2+ years experience in testing(manual/automated)
Experience in automated or manual testing

Familiar with the bug reporting tools

Candidate should have at least 4 – 6 years of total experience in testing of Web based and/or mobile applications.
Candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience in team management along with hands on testing the application.

Prepare test plans for the project according to the customers requirements and the design documents
Work with the QA Lead and Development team to execute the test plan.

About 5 years of experience in software testing
Exposure to testing web as well as client-server applications
Knowledge of finance domain, preferably forex (currency) related
