Corrosion Testing Specialist

Desired Profile:Ph.D in metallurgy with a thesis in corrosion. Proven track record in execution of programs with good external recognition through publications and technical project leadership positions.

Strong drive towards finding solutions using mechanistic understanding of corrosion, and an in-depth understanding of the interplay between materials selection and the environment. Strong hands on experimental skills.

Hands on experience in experimental methods and materials selection issues under sour gas environments.
Job Description :Lead Research Programs in Corrosion and Electrochemistry to provide solutions to corrosion under high pressure and temperature environments under the presence of chlorides, oxidizers and sour gas for GE businesses. The candidate will be responsible for scoping the issues, arriving at a problem definition, articulating and executing a research plan and mentoring colleagues in the process.
