Test Specialist – Mercury Testing Tool Suite ( Testing ) – GBS
is looking for testing professionals skilled in the Mercury Testing Tool suite. As a Test specialist for Automation tools at IBM , you will test projects and ensure a high quality of the client deliverables.

Understanding Test Plan, Writing Test Cases & Scripts according to the Functional Specifications.
Execution of the Test Cases using Manual Testing.
Validation and Verification based on Unit & Functional testing, report generation.

• Good Experience in Manual Testing
• Exposure the any of the SAP Modules
• Must have tested SAP based applications for a minimum of 6 Months

Excellent understanding of Ethernet technologies and TCP/IP protocol.
Experience in testing protocols like 802.1Q, 802.1p, STP, RSTP, MSTP, QinQ, LACP, RSPAN, GVRP
Experience in platforms supporting in Non-stop-forwarding/Hit-less protocol support

• Knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle ( STLC ) and Structured testing methodologies
• Proficient in manual testing and QC Tool

Execution of various manual tests including functional, regression testing, etc.

• Experience with any of the testing tools like Mercury (QTP),  Silk,  Open Source Tools like Selenium, Watir, Sahi etc.

• Ability to work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to create and prioritize Test Plans & estimations etc

• Good scenario identification.

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Ability to write simple code to test applications.

Automation Testing with strong expertise in Silktest.

3 to 7 year of experience.

1. Hands on experience on bug tracking tool like bugzilla

2. Exp in logging and tracking defects to closure

3. Exp in Functional testing, Regression and Retesting

4. Proficiency in client handling

• MS Office, Highly proficient in MS-Word, Proficient in Excel, Access, Outlook & PPT
• Adobe Framemaker 7.1, Adobe Reader 6.0+
• Excellent communication and written skills
• High attention to detail
